Oh I Do Love This Man; The Preacher That Is

27 Nov

Listen to what this Cop sees as his job and listen to how he thinks we should feel about him doing his “job”.

Now see what everyone can do to stop these Fascist, Police State tactics BooYa!

It’s time to insist on the freedom we were promised 223 years ago

Bill of Rights of the United States of America (1791)

The first 10 amendments to the Constitution make up the Bill of Rights. Written by James Madison in response to calls from several states for greater constitutional protection for individual liberties, the Bill of Rights lists specific prohibitions on governmental power.

To each his own. To me, the preacher comes off as an insufferable, egotistical a-hole. I couldn’t handle more than two minutes of the video. Apparently the cop put up with much more of his BS.

I think I have a more effective strategy for dealing with the police. It’s been put to the test, and it works. I speak nicely to them and answer their questions, even when I think they are violating my privacy rights. I’m soon back on my way with minimal delay. I always have better things to do than debate Constitutional rights with someone at the bottom rung of the ladder.

His Bullshit is defending his rights. Your attitude toward this kind of intrusion is typical of many and I understand why.
At first look it seems a simple question to answer to be allowed to go along your way. until you understand that nobody has a right to ask you who you are or where you are going or anything else.
When we allow them to coerce such simple answers from us we are creating a pattern of behavior. We are teaching ourselves to comply with whatever “Request” a Cop might make.
We are teaching them to expect answers to such questions and make it harder for those of us who do have respect for our rights.
It helps when you see that Cops are not your friends; unless you are a wealthy, white, republican.
It helps to understand that “anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law”; guilty or not; regardless of your intent or intended meaning; ANYTHING you say.
I t should help to understand that forcing everyone to carry and display ID Papers upon request. Blindly following orders from Police without questioning whether they are right or reasonable or even legal orders.
Little by little they erode your rights. First they are questioning you without cause; then searching you without cause; Then detaining you without cause; then detaining you anonymously; etc.
Many American Patriots gave their all; life and blood; family and wealth; to safeguard our right, not to be questioned and searched etc. for us to weaken our resolve to protect our rights.
Never give away what they want to take by force.
Stand up and act like an American. Not a Sheep.

You’re missing my point. You can’t waste so much time fighting these philosophical battles every time you cross paths with a drone. You’ll never get your normal life activities done! Save it for that town hall meeting with the city council candidate, or someone who counts.

If you don’t want to tell the cop where you are really going, have a ready-made fake destination in mind, one they can’t check on. As far as the “who you are”, it’s unavoidable in a car. You have to carry your license, and they do have the right to ask to see it.

You have made some excellent (for my purposes) arguments and so I am going to publish our discussion as a post. You are of course; welcome to comment further but I don’t know a better way to get my point across than to give an airing to yours. Hope you don’t mind. Peace
