This is the unvarnished truth. Greed and oppression of those less fortunate than they has been the “American Way” for approximately 25% of the population since the very beginning. Another 25% are willing victims and support their actions. Glamourizing the American experience will not get us to the place we are going.
We need to end this pulpy, sentimental patriotism based on a false history and face who we are and what we are and try to improve what we have rather than stand; as if in quick-sand. We need a new Patriotism based on pride in fairness and justice; humility and honesty.

This piece gets an “A” for Authenticity; Accuracy; and Audacity.
Bravo the folks; eh, person; eh “super-mainframe computer matrix program”; um; whatever, at this site.
It is a site of many mysteries to this humble Angryman; who is after all; just a Simple Country Philosopher and not some High-tech, Wizbang-Hoop-de-doo.

A while back it was venture capitalist Tom Perkins, who equated criticism of the wealthy with the Holocaust.
