Monsters Used To Come Out Of The Forest.

16 Dec

In Fairytales; monsters came out of the forest and ate little children while they were adam lanza monstermischieviously playing alone; away from their protectors.

Yesterday in Newtown, Connecticut, the Monster came right into the school where our children were supposed to be safe; right into the place where their protectors were with them.

None of these protectors were able to do anyting to stop this Monster from slaughtering the children; the protectors; and then escaping into death without so much as an explanation; and without having to pay for his heartless destruction of truly innocent lives.

The school principal tried and was shot down. Teachers tried and were killed though the actions of these teachers saved lives that otherwise would have been lost. The Monster could not be stopped because he was carrying three (3) weapons; one of which was an assault rifle that is capable of firing so fast and so long that no-one could have gotten close to reaching the shooter before being killed themselves. His fourth weapon; also an asaault weapon was a Russian Saiga semi-automatic shotgun designed for close action in cramped areas and capable of carring a drum magazine for extended use.

Our sadness and sense of frustration knows no bounds and will respond to no balm.

My friend over at 3chicspolitico have had to stop reblogs for the time being but I am providing a link to their site. Look at the pictures of these kids and then tell me that we don’t need to place some controls on the unlimited power to kill.

My heart is so broken. I’m going through crying, sadness and then sheer anger. I grieve to my soul looking on the faces of those precious little darlings. It’s so wrong for parents to burying their kids a week before Christmas. It’s so wrong. **tears**

It’s hard to comprehend little 6 & 7 year olds having 3-7 bullets in them.Time to put a stop to the madness.

I’m assuming you are talking more stringent gun laws? Tell me, how do you legislate against evil? What gun laws can be passed that would actually work against this kind of what you called “madness”? I am a strong believer in Constitutional rights, not just the second amendment, but ALL of them. Even I would consider something if it would actually work against this type of thing, however that is not what this is about. Putting MORE regulations on law abiding citizens is NOT the answer, the ones you will effect obey the law and don’t shoot people anyways. As a matter of fact, you will probably end up hurting those that could actually do something that would have an effect. Why not enable and train MORE people to carry and conceal and use firearms to protect the innocent? Don’t you think those innocents would have fared a much better outcome if perhaps several of the teachers or staff had permits to carry? At least they would have had a chance. Did you ever consider why nut jobs like these always prey on innocents at schools or movie theatres or shopping malls? It’s Safe! Permits to carry would work far more often than punishing the law abiding citizen. Just a thought.

Such a tragedy, my heart goes out to all those poor people that will forever relive this incident. may we as a nation come to our senses and do something that will actually make a difference instead of blindly and emotionally seeking out a quick fix to a complicated problem. The reason for all this violence in our country runs deeper than another shooting in an elementary school. You are right that something needs to be done but that will take a transformation back to our founding principles. Somewhere along the way we lost who we are.
