Republican Is As Republican Does; Not As Republican Says

24 Oct

Over at the Blog of a friend of mine; a reader wrote to complain about some things that he said about Lyin’ Mitt Romney. My friend posted as follows:

“A reader of this blog accuses me of character assassination of Mitt Romney because I call Mitt out for his lies. You cannot be guilty of character assassination if the so-called victim lacks character. If Mitt will stop telling lies, I will stop calling him a liar. Until then, I will call them as I see them.”

Now this got me to thinking; and you all know how dangerous that can be.I thought particularly about the phrase: “If Mitt would stop telling lies”

I am just a bit weary of walking on eggshells every time I speak with a republican or about republicans. I’m tired of not saying what I think to be polite and not seem extreme.

I hate to generalize but I believe that the majority of republicans fit into one of the two types I describe so I will go ahead and risk the ire of the few who may not………..

………..Mitt Romney will never stop telling lies. He was raised by republicans. He is a republican. People are drawn to the republican party because they are one of two types of person.

Type 1

The first is a person who likes to have everything he does and does not do decided for him. He accepts what he is told without investigating to discover if it is the truth. his party and their platform is his security blanket.

This man has a need to be right even if he is wrong so he will not accept the possibility that he is wrong. Because he is incapable of forming his own opinions and standing up alone for them (he is; in essence; a coward when alone) he requires the constant reassurance of his party and his church that he is a good and righteous person; for which assurance, he is willing to give up his right to freewill and independent thought.

He will do and vote as instructed by his party; always. He may be an honest man. He may be a nice man. He may even be an intelligent man. But he is by no means to be considered a wise man. He is generally unable to tell right from wrong and so needs to be told which is which by his church and/or his party.

Many of this type of republican are also Fundamentalist Christians. It is not difficult to see that a person; impressed and mesmerized by the dramatic and energetic show of speaking in tounges, shaking and quaking; rolling around the floor; screaming and passing out; and the emotionally charged, faux healings that take place in these “Churches” would be easy converts to a political party like the Republicans or the Nazis.

Arthur Jones, 64, a Lyons, IL, insurance salesman who organizes family-friendly, neo-Nazi events around Adolf Hitler’s birthday, hopes to be the Republican candidate chosen to run against Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District.

Both of these parties are known for their grandiose statements and promises.Their great patriotic rallies where the dictates and policies of the party are drilled into the minds of the masses by the use of overly emotional and highly charged speeches touting the glorious history of the nation; the virtuous nature of its founders and heroes; and the direct

State police were ordered to remove a Republican lawmaker from New Hampshire’s House of Representatives after he shouted “Sieg Heil” and appeared to give a Nazi salute.

connection of these worthies to the party officials and candidates seen before them.

They play patriotic music; wave the flag and continuously raise the level of frenetic energy until the crowds of followers are almost hypnotized into a false sense of security by the constant assurance that the party knows what the best plan for us is. That they are in control and working from a clear set of principles set down by the founders and protected by the heroes. These people feel all warm and fuzzy and safe within the embrace of their wise all-american party and their tactiley satisfying and emotionally moving church.

Type 2

The second type is a person who is driven. They are driven to succeed both financially and socially. They have vast amounts of self-confidence bordering or over the line into severe narcissism. (Mitt is an excellent example of this type)

These people are sure of everything. They are just as incapable of independent thought as type 1 but once they are instructed as to the correct course; they become rabid in their desire to force everyone to live by those same beliefs and are willing to do anything to get their way.

They have no conscience.

“new poll has indicated that the general population in the United States may have more in common with serial killers than previously believed, namely political leanings. A new poll of living and deceased serial killers has shown that upwards of 80 per cent lean towards conservative ideals and the majority routinely voted Republican”

Many are sociopathic; having no understanding or care for the effect of their actions on others. Serial killers are also sociopathic but with a more personally violent nature and a need to experience the hands on killing process in one form or another. But type 2 republicans who are sociopathic are mostly satisfied to do their killing from a distance by the use of laws; punishments; and oppression.

They enjoy the suffering of others as much as the serial killer but are too embroiled in their own ego and righteous purpose to allow themselves to be seen as a criminal. These people are just as happy to witness the hunger and

“Across the board, serial killers are predominantly conservative in their political leanings. Gary Ridgeway, Dennis Rader, and probably the biggest name of all, Ted Bundy, were all active in the Republican Party at some level. Quizzing other killers showed the same thing, that the vast majority vote Republican,” said lead pollster David Quick.

oppression of great masses of the poor with the certain knowledge that they caused their pain and humiliation through their bigoted, elitist actions.

These are the republican leaders and fanatic movers and shakers who ever press their case to the people and the Congress in an attempt to expand their influence over our entire nation and eventually the entire world.

Because these people are of a uniquely focused mindset; they are adept at amassing wealth and because they are generally raised by parents who are also republican; they are not inhibited by the basic rules of fair-play; compassion; sharing; equality; honesty; or the value of the truth.

In fact they are not even familiar with the concepts having never been taught of them or allowed to learn them by example. Rather; they are drilled in the practice of pragmatism; greed; manipulation; deceit; and bigotry by their wealthy parents.

So in a type 2 republican; the leader; we have a narcissistic, self-righteous criminal with no sense of right and wrong who cares nothing for the feelings of others; has a wish to force his will on the world; and is willing to commit any deceit; tell any lie; roll over all opposition with impunity and cause any amount of suffering to get his way.

As we have seen in the case of Lyin’ Mitt; many of these high-strung juggernauts are also Mamma’s boys. Whiny little bitches who sucked tit until they were five or six and wore rain-gear and used umbrellas when they ventured out. They are told what good boys they are for so long that they adopt a permanent smirk of self-righteous condescension as their go-to expression.

So Mitt Romney will never tell the truth any more than Richard Nixon did. Anymore than George W. Bush did. Anymore than any republican has ever done or ever will.

I am not convinced that Mitt and his cronies even know the difference between the truth and a lie; or the value of one over the other.

I mean; when you firmly believe you are doing work for God and God tells you to become a greedy, uncaring, asshole; you tend to believe that your words create truth; the end justifies the means and poor people are just lazy I guess.

Remember: Republican is as republican does; never as republican says.

Gotta say man, that is probably the most narrow minded rant of total bullshit I have ever heard, congratulations. Have you ever thought about running for office? Seriously, I am really curious how you personally feel about this whole Libya thing as it is going down. Are you quite comfortable with our President (notice I did say our President as he still represents me too)lying to Congress and the American people about what transpired there over the last month. Funny how I never hear any criticism of your fearless leader when he is obviously lying out his ass? Care to comment? I’d love to hear how Libya is not really important or he didn’t “really’ lie or whatever your explanation is.

First; it is no bullshit at all. Psychological studies have born out much of what I said. I will try to look up a good reference so you can read the asesment of different types of people and the opinions they hold; parties they belong to etc. it’s a real eye opener. The particular study I am thinking of was done at a university in British Columbis By a professor who has been working ion the field for many years. Anyway

I would never run for office Steve. Politics corrupts; Republican politics corrupts absolutely.

Short answer? No I am not bothered by the Libya thing. I don’t understand why you are.
You want to explain that one to me.

I don’t know what else to say about it. It was intelligence and government business as usual for both parties.

Please don’t say you believe a republican president would have released the whole truth at once.

That really would be a flight of fantasy.

Like I said; they release what they choose; when they choose; and for the reasons they choose.

Just as a police department might not release the full details of a serial killer’s crimes so as to be able to determine valid information and tips from the public as opposed to false ones and to avoid possible copycats muddying the real evidence.

Again; I don’t see whay this has your panties in such a bunch. I hate to ask this but please explain if you will.

Also; please explain how you believe the President would have benefited by lying about the case other than my suggestion.

Protest run amuck or planned terrorist attack. No difference from inside the consul. Chris Stevens is still just as dead as are the other three Americans.

After all of the supposed intelligence errors the last republican administration made in connection with 9/11; Iraq etc. you can’t tell me that a republican president would have handled it better or been more forthcoming.

The problem is four Americans are dead and this administration bold faced lied about the circumstances for over two weeks. The sitting President watched the events unfolding in real time and did NOTHING to help the people in harms way. He left them in a dangerous setting and denied their requests for beefed up security. Most damning is he blamed it all on some poor schlep that made some stupid anti Muslim movie and had the FBI raid his house and throw him in jail over it. Sorry you don’t see any problem with it but I consider it a big deal. Please don’t justify it by saying the last administration would have done the same thing. That was before, this is now. They were a bunch of scoundrels as well, I don’t need to be convinced, but don’t put this guy up on some pedestal and say it doesn’t matter, it does. All I expect from all you lefties is just a bit of consistency. I don’t understand why if a Republican does something unsavory they must be the spawn of Satan but when a Progressive does the exact same thing or worse you always give him a pass. i always end up defending the Republicans because all you of the left go through life with your heads up your ass and NEVER call out the Barak Obama’s of the world for anything. My question is why? Wrong is wrong no matter what party they belong to.

Actually, I can’t prove it but I have a sneaking suspicion that as time goes on we are going to find out that all those weapons that the US government dumped into Libya to overthrow Qaddafi ended up in the hands of this Al Queda group that killed our own people. Something is definately up here and I don’t think we still have the answers. Smells like dead fish to me.

the following is an excert from and interview Condolisa Rice gave regarding the very questions you ask. As former REPUBLICAN Secretary of State; I must assume she know of that which she speaks.
As for the weapons; you may well be right. It wouldn’t be the first time and I fear not the last either but time will tell:

“Mitt Romney supporters in the media were hoping to derail President Obama’s re-election momentum by hyping “Benghazi-Gate”.
Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice broke with the majority of her party last night on Fox News, as she tried to hit the brakes on the right wing’s politicization of the recent attack in Libya.
Host Greta Van Susteren asked Rice directly and repeatedly about a set of emails uncovered by Reuters. In what has been dubbed “Benghazi-Gate,” the conservative media has jumped on the emails as definitive proof that the Obama administration has been lying about what it knew and when in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attack on a diplomatic mission in Benghazi. Rice’s response was likely not what Van Susteren expected:
RICE: But when things are unfolding very, very quickly, it’s not always easy to know what is really going on on the ground. And to my mind, the really important questions here are about how information was collected. Did the various agencies really coordinate and share intelligence in the way that we had hoped, with the reforms that were made after 9/11?
So there’s a big picture to be examined here. But we don’t have all of the pieces, and I think it’s easy to try and jump to conclusions about what might have happened here. It’s probably better to let the relevant bodies do their work.”

You can watch the entire interview with this paragon of conservative thought and known republican at the following url.

I will even give you that they didn’t know 9 which I highly doubt because they were watching it on real time as it unfolded) but why lie about it and blame it on somebody else that had nothing to do with it? They absolutely KNEW it wasn’t about a video, so why lie? Hmmmn? Interestlingly since this post of yours even CBS News is now admitting they have a video that corroborates they new it was a terrorist attack the next day. Almost 2 months now and they’re still stonewalling. Why not come clean? Romney doesn’t and for some unknown reason hasn’t really pressed the issue much either. I am personally stunned as to why. I’m not really sure why but I’ve been around long enough to know something stinks here and the American people deserve to know the truth!

I doubt that we will ever be sure of “the truth”. In the intelliogence community; truth is as flexible as slippery as Mitt Romney. Have you considered the possibility that the CIA or State Department gave Mitt the word to shut the hell up lest he reveal or cause to be revealed vital information; National Security information. Why else would he not push it? I said before I thought that the reason for the scanty information we received. Mitt came so close to finding himself labeled a traitor by the American people when he publically criticized the President at the time of the incident. I labeled him a traitor long before but it is a tough charge to stick. I think the Administration took him to the woodshed; spanked him like the spoiled Mama’s boy and told him to shut his traitorous mouth or suffer the consequences. I suspect Mitt discovered that most lies will be tolerated but diloyalty to oue Prsident and his government will not.
